At MBFG, our journey began with a profound realisation
that it's not all about money.
In the midst of the 2007 Global Financial Crisis, our founder embarked on a business admin traineeship in the financial planning industry through Apprenticeships Queensland. It was here that she witnessed people, on the verge of retirement, reduced to tears because they had lost everything. This was a stark and heart-wrenching moment, one that made us question the very essence of our purpose.
Questions lingered in our minds - how can we educate without getting greedy, especially in times of financial turmoil like the GFC and the rise of Bitcoin? How can we change outcomes for the better? And most importantly, how can we genuinely make a difference?
It's about helping individuals avoid tough times in life, whether that means guiding them into their first home, assisting them through the challenging process of insurance and income protection claims, or ensuring the security of their financial future.
